Telugu silver screen, likewise known by its sobriquet Tollywood, is the
portion of Indian film committed to the generation of movies in the Telugu
dialect, situated in Film Nagar, an area of Hyderabad, Telangana. Since 1909,
producer Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu was associated with delivering short movies

In 1933, East India Film Company has created its first Indian film, Savitri in Telugu.
